LED mirrors
Backlit bathroom mirrors with a one-touch switch and built-in anti-fog, in round and rectangular formats.
The Luz collection brings an even, glare-free light to the washbasin area. Each mirror is frameless, backlit by an integrated LED strip and switched on with a single touch. The built-in anti-fog function keeps the surface clear after a hot shower. Luz Round comes in Ø 60 and Ø 80 cm; Luz Square comes in 60 × 80 and 80 × 80 cm.
How to choose an LED bathroom mirror
An LED mirror lights the face directly from the washbasin area. With a backlit mirror, the light comes from behind the glass and spreads evenly on the wall and on the face, without the hard shadows of a single ceiling light. It is also a decorative light source in the evening.
Round or rectangular?
The shape of the mirror follows the lines of the room.
- Luz Round brings softness to a bathroom built on straight lines, and it echoes curved pieces such as the Vega Round toilet or the Torino bathtub. Sizes: Ø 60 cm and Ø 80 cm.
- Luz Square continues the lines of a rectangular basin or a square toilet such as Vega Square. Sizes: 60 × 80 cm and 80 × 80 cm.
All Luz mirrors are frameless, with an integrated LED backlight, a One Touch switch on the glass and a built-in anti-fog function.
Choosing the size
As a rule, the mirror should be about as wide as the basin or the vanity unit, or a little narrower than the vanity. A Ø 60 cm or 60 × 80 cm mirror suits a single basin and most standard vanities. Choose Ø 80 cm or 80 × 80 cm above a wider vanity, or when the mirror is meant to be the focal point of the wall.
Height and position
Centre the mirror on the basin. Place its centre roughly at the eye level of the main users, often around 150 to 160 cm from the floor, and leave a clear gap above the tap or the top of a wall-mounted spout. If several people of very different heights use the bathroom, a taller format gives everyone a good view.
Electrical connection
A backlit mirror is connected to the mains. Plan the power supply before tiling, at the position of the mirror. A qualified electrician should make the connection, in line with the electrical rules for bathrooms in your country. The One Touch sensor switches the light on and off directly on the glass, so no separate wall switch is required for the mirror.
Anti-fog and everyday use
The built-in anti-fog function keeps the glass clear after a hot shower, so the mirror is usable straight away. To clean it, use a microfibre cloth and a glass cleaner sprayed on the cloth rather than on the mirror, and avoid abrasive products.
Checklist before ordering
- Shape that matches the basin and the other pieces
