The light of a bathroom mirror is not only a question of brightness. Its colour changes how you see your skin, your make-up and the whole room. Luz Round offers three colour temperatures, so you can pick the light that suits the moment.
What the kelvin values mean
Colour temperature is measured in kelvin (K). The lower the value, the warmer and more yellow the light; the higher the value, the cooler and bluer it looks.
- 3000 K, warm white: a soft, relaxing light, close to a traditional bulb. Ideal in the evening and for a cosy atmosphere.
- 4500 K, neutral white: a balanced light, close to daylight indoors. The best everyday choice for grooming.
- 6500 K, cool white: a crisp, bright light. Useful for precise tasks such as shaving or applying make-up in detail.
Why colour rendering matters
Colour rendering index (CRI) measures how faithfully a light shows colours, on a scale up to 100. The LEDs of Luz Round have a CRI above 85: skin tones look natural, and you see the real colour of foundation or lipstick.
How the backlight works
Luz Round is lit from behind by SMD 2835 LEDs, 120 per metre. The light spreads around the frameless round glass and onto the wall, which gives a soft halo without glare. The One Touch sensor on the glass switches the light on and off.
Made for the bathroom
- Built-in anti-fog: the glass stays clear after a hot shower.
- IP44 rating: protected against splashing water.
- Copper-free mirror, 5 mm: no black spots or darkened edges appearing over time with humidity.
As with any electrical product in a bathroom, the mirror is connected by a qualified electrician, who respects the safety zones defined by local regulations.
Ø 60 or Ø 80 cm?
Choose a mirror about as wide as the basin or slightly narrower than the vanity. Ø 60 cm suits a single basin such as Felis; Ø 80 cm suits a wider vanity or a mirror meant to be the focal point of the wall.
